2015 Year in Review

Altus AFB Homes thanks our residents for another great year!
2015 has truly been an eventful year for Altus AFB Homes. While Resident Specialists were busy signing leases and welcoming new residents to our community, LifeWorks Coordinators planned innovative and engaging events, and Maintenance Technicians kept homes in tip-top shape. It’s been a great year, and we’d like to take the time to thank the community at Altus AFB Homes for their ongoing support and recap some of this year’s highlights.

This year, Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation provided 53 academic scholarships to children of active-duty military members residing at BBC-managed properties. Altus AFB Homes also received four CEL awards, for the Capehart, Centennial, Great Plains, Sequoia neighborhoods – recognizing excellence in customer feedback.

Our team welcomed 249 new residents to Altus AFB Homes this year!
We also welcomed a new employee to the team- our new Finance Specialist, Ms. Pamela Schrick. Be sure to stop by the Community Management Office and say hello!

Our LifeWorks program strives to strengthen community relationships by providing events for residents of all ages to engage in a variety of social and learning activities. Programs are held throughout the year and are free for our residents. Our most memorable event was our 5th Annual Halloween Pumpkin Patch, where over 300 residents enjoyed choosing and decorating pumpkins from our Community Center “patch”.

An enhanced PCS rewards program has been rolled out across all military properties managed by Balfour Beatty Communities and we welcome all PCSing residents to take advantage of this opportunity. If you are a current resident and choose to live with another BBC-managed community, our staff will assist you with a streamlined transfer and you can receive a $100 reward!

In 2015, we also entered into a partnership with other military housing agencies to make PCS moves easier. No matter the installation, we can refer you to your new housing management office – whether a Balfour Beatty Communities, Winn, United or Corvias community. More information will be provided during the move-out process.

At Altus AFB Homes, we are committed to providing high quality homes in welcoming, safe communities so that residents have a positive experience living with us.
